What kind of products do you sell?
We offer preloved accessories from leading premium and mid-segment brands and designers. All items are carefully selected to ensure authenticity, high quality, and timeless design.
We strongly believe that beautiful, well-crafted products can last a lifetime. We love what we sell, made to be loved forever.
How do I know the condition of the item?
After a detailed inspection, each item is assigned a condition rating, which you can find on the product page.
The different condition levels are:
★★★★★ | NEW Unused with original tags
★★★★★ | AS NEW Unused without original tags
★★★★☆ | VERY GOOD Slightly used with small signs of wear
★★★☆☆ | GOOD Used with some signs of wear
★★☆☆☆ | FAIR Regularly used with visible signs of wear
★☆☆☆☆ | WELL-LOVED With significant signs of wear
In the product description, we highlight everything you need to know about the item, together with detailed photos. We recommend carefully reading the description and reviewing all photos so you have a clear and accurate view of what to expect.

AUTHENTICITY
Are the products authentic?
We take authenticity very seriously. Every product is carefully examined by our experts and/or our trusted third party partners. Logos, materials, stitching, serial numbers,... each item undergoes a thorough inspection. Only products that are 100% authentic become part of our collection.

How do I create an account?
Click on the “My Account” symbol on the right-hand side of the webpage and complete the registration form.
By creating an account, you willl be able to track your orders, view your order history and save your details for a faster checkout next time.
Can I order without creating an account?
Yes, you can place an order as a guest. Please note that in this case, you will need to enter your details again for future orders.
We strongly recommend creating an account to enjoy additional benefits, such as saving your details for faster checkout, tracking your orders, viewing past purchases and receiving notifications.

Do you have a physical store?
Currently, we only offer our products online. If you need more information or additional photos before making a purchase, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to provide all the details you need.
I ordered the wrong item. Can I cancel my order?
We completely understand, sometimes it’s easy to get excited! Since we aim to ship all orders as quickly as possible, please contact us immediately by email at hello@cavanpreloved.com.
Make sure to include CANCELLATION and your order number in the subject line.
SHIPPING
How do you ship?
All shipments are insured and traceable, giving you complete peace of mind from dispatch to delivery.The shipping carrier may vary depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number for your order.
What are the shipping costs?
The cost for fully insured and traceable shipping is:
- Belgium: €15
- Other countries: please contact us.
How long does delivery take?
Your order will be carefully packed and shipped within 1 to 3 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can monitor the progress and see when to expect your delivery.
Are orders shipped with insurance?
Yes, all orders are shipped fully insured.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number that allows you to follow the progress of your shipment.
Do you offer worldwide shipping?
At the moment, we ship within Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Germany.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
Can I return my order?
Yes, we accept returns as long as the item is in exactly the same condition as received and the security tag remains attached.
Please send an email to hello@cavanpreloved.com within 14 days of receiving your order, mentioning the order number and the email address used to place the order.

Why is there a security label attached to the item?
The security label is attached to ensure that items are not used or worn before being returned.
When returning an item, the security label must remain attached and cannot be removed or reattached. Once the security label has been removed, the item is considered accepted and is no longer eligible for return.
Do I have to pay for a return?
Yes, the customer is responsible for the return shipment and any associated costs. We strongly recommend sending the return shipment insured and traceable. Cavan cannot be held liable for return parcels that
are lost during transit. If a return does not reach us, we are unfortunately unable to issue a refund.
How long will the refund take?
Once we have received and approved your return, the refund will be processed within 14 days.
The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the amount to appear in your account.
Can I exchange an item?
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you’ve changed your mind and would prefer a different item, please return your purchase in accordance with our return policy and place a new order for the desired product.
SELL & CONSIGN
What can I sell?
We accept bags, small leather goods, jewellery and other accessories from mid-segment to premium brands and designers.
Which brands and designers do you accept?

How does consignment work?
1. Tell us about it: Send an email to hello@cavanpreloved.com with a short description of the item (brand, model, colour, condition) and a few clear pictures.
2. Receive a free shipping label and send your item to us. In some cases, we also offer a pick-up service
(high-value items, larger quantities,...).
3. Evaluation: We carefully evaluate the item (authenticity, condition, market demand,...)
4. Pricing: Together, we agree on the selling price.
5. We sell it: We take care of everything: styling, photography, descriptions, promotion, customer service,...
6. Get paid: Once your item is sold, you will receive your payment within 30 days.

How do I get my items to Cavan?
We will provide a free shipping label so you can send your items to us.
For high-value items or larger quantities we offer a pick-up service.
What will I earn?
The percentage you receive depends on the selling price. We are completely transparent, no hidden fees.
Selling price You receive
Up to €300 55%
€300 – €1,500 65%
€1,500 – €3,000 70%
Above €3,000 Mutual agreement, minimum 80%
My item didn't sell. What now?
We keep your items for a minimum of 3 months. If your item hasn’t sold after this period, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
How are my items authenticated?
We only offer authentic items. Each item is carefully verified by our internal or trusted external experts through a thorough authentication process. Materials, workmanship, logos, serial codes, and other details are carefully checked.
If an item does not meet our authenticity standards, we will not accept it.
Please provide us with the invoice, dustbag, original packaging, or any other original materials, if you still have them, as this helps with the authentication process.
How long is the consignment period?
The minimum consignment period is 3 months. If your item hasn’t sold after this period, we will contact you to agree on the next steps.
What happens if I change my mind and want to keep my items?
The minimum consignment period is 3 months. If you would like to have your item returned earlier, an administrative fee of €75 per item will apply.
How are the selling prices determined?
The selling price depends on factors such as brand/designer, condition, design, and whether the item is a collector’s piece. We set prices based on our expertise and current market demand.

Can I buy a gift card?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards. You can select the amount, add a personal message, and choose whether you want to receive it yourself or send it directly to someone else.
